Day 9. The Clinic followed by Art and fish at Maho Bay
Day nine.
The night was LONG, very long. Claire again was burning with fever and awake much of the night. The decision was made to head first thing to the St John Medical Clinic and hopefully get seen by a doctor before our first art class of the day at Maho Bay, something the kids were looking forward to.
Graham, after doing a chunk of school work while waiting at the clinic, took over my camera and documented the morning:

We left with yet another prescription-no medicine at the clinic-and a diagnosis of strep throat, again. and, as long as we didn't have any goat or donkey hold ups we were going to just make it in time for our first class. Clay Fish.
Graham thought the bananaquit birds were better than class. The artist leading the class were happy to oblige his interest. They gave him a handful of sugar and told him to put it in the feeder and wait.
Eric had made the trek to the pharmacy while we were in art class and wasn't back by the end of the class. We headed to the beach at Maho Bay. Could have used his help carrying stuff. A sick Claire and stuff is heavy especially with Maho Bay stairs!
Eric did appear just about the time we got settled in at the beach. He and Graham did a lot of snorkeling! Ella snuck in a turn too!! A Day at the beach is always good!
Underwater photos from the trip: lots of them by graham
After the beach, it was time for glass blowing class!!
Then DINNER ! Worn out from the day the Tourist Trap near Concorida was too tempting to pass up. The BEST part was watching Graham and Ella play Rock Em Sock Em.
Tomorrow is our last full day :( on the island.
