back home sans the big ones

Lake plans changed around a bit leaving me without as much time to blog. Eric's grandfather passed away on Thursday morning at a hospital in Grand Rapids. The cottage was filled with family for a bit. When we left yesterday, we left 2 happy grandparents and our 2 happy older kids. I guess I was the only one not so happy...selfishly, I was hoping my kids would hop in the car with me. Instead I was left with only Claire to commiserate with in our tears.

We're headed back up to the cottage the end of the week to embrace my kids and attend the memorial service for Great Grandpa B.
