Sunday at the lake cottage

Another trip to one of my kids favorite places anywhere--the lake cottage in Michigan. We arrived late, late late on Saturday night. So late that *I* was driving which my dh never lets me do--better than him falling asleep. So, the night owl in me drove to the sernade of four people snoring. Ella being a girl after my own heart only slept for moments and the rest of the time told me "see, I told you I was really a night fairy" "I don't sleep at night. I play freeze tag and sing songs, and blow bubbles and dress up and sing songs and, and and.." Yes, indeed she is a *night fairy*.

We arrived though and here we are. It was a cool, relaxing day...well as relaxing as an 18 month old going on 8 year old will let it be. sigh. so not really relaxing at all. Maybe when the grandparents arrive...:)




Slow going caterpillars were everywhere at our friends cottage where we stopped on the way up. Made for a slow going trip for us!
