popsicle recipe

popsicle recipe, originally uploaded by Anne A.

6 ounces of frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 cups of vanilla yogurt
1 tsp vanilla
2 sticky dirty summer like hands optional

Whisk to combine the ingredients and fill your favorite popsicle molds. Freeze and enjoy!

My summer favorite from my childhood has turned into my kids favorite.

Now...does anyone have a good idea on what to do to pass the time while these favorites freeze...

"Mom? Are they ready?"
1 minute later "Mom, I'm just going to check."
1 minute later "How about now??"

Yay! Thanks for posting the recipe. It sounds delicious, and maybe a little less sugar than the ones I had been buying! :)

Now for your idiot question, where do I find popsicle molds?? Target??

You can find anything at Target!!

They also have nice ones at Williams Sonoma.

However my favorite are the tupperware ones. They are just the right size for kids.

I heard that a LOT this weekend!

We bought this cool new popsicle molds called "Twistix" at Walmart this weekend. They remind me of "Push Ups" as you twist the popsicle up. They seal well to freeze and contain the drips. LOVE 'em!

Perfect! Thanks, I actually just found them at Target!

I am getting ready to make them while the kids nap today to avoid the "are they ready yet!" :)

Thanks again for sharing your recipe with us!! I would prefer they aren't just sucking down sugar with the store bought ones.
