just a regular eighth day of vacation

Graham has always been my homebody. He loves being at his safe comfortable familiar home. So it was no surpise to me that today, day 8 of vacation, day 5 at Disney that Graham quietly inquired, or baragained, or pleaded with Ella.

"I don't like the name Techna."..."Please Ella"........."Are you *ever* going to be just Ella, again?"

I'm thinking he misses her. Regular old her in our regular old house back in cold, dreary Indiana.

Then I'm thinking "WHAT'S wrong with him?!? Bring on the Techna, the Aurora, the CinderELLA. Bring on the sun, the magic, the sand, the blue sky...bring on vacation."

"We don't need regular. We need vacation. Vacation with the regular sweet Graham and the regular Ella which just so happens to really be a princess a fairy or someone named Techna."

"Doesn't he know regular and familiar? Ella without the sparkles wouldn't be."

She keeps saying when she grows up she wants to be a princess or a fairy...and she really believes it, not just on vacation in the land of dreams coming true, but at our regular old everday family home of 5.
