for fellow moms only--this would be the time to comment.
Ella wanted to know how to jump rope. So when the rain stopped today we headed outside.
I grabbed the rope and started chanting Cinderella dressed in Yellow went upstairs...
Remember that?
I'm all happy jumping along in the sunshine.
When I realize its not the splash of rainy drive making my pants wet.
I guess a 33 year old mom of three shouldn't be jump roping?? cmon.
Can I claim I still have a post pregnancy body when my baby is 14 months?
I can't be the *only* one, can I?

I'm only emerging from lurking status (found this blog through a photographer friend) to comment because no one talks about this and I wanted you to know you're most certainly not alone. Only 2 kids for me, but no jogging and no jumping. Pretty much just walking. Love your pictures though! Nicola
I knew it--another one of those things us women, who talk all the time, never bring up! :)
So what do we do about it? Don't tell me kegels. arggggh!
I, like your first commenter, am a fellow photographer who checks out your photos for inspiration from time to time. I couldn't help but comment! I just told my husband in the car today that sometimes when I sneeze a little bit of pee comes out - and I only have one child (20 months old). I can only imagine jumping rope after three. You are not alone!
misery loves company! :)
Maybe they better start marketing mini depends for us.
Seriously, Kegels. You can change it! I had it really bad when I was pregnant (the third time). I couldn't even sneeze without wetting my pants!
That is too funny!! Love the story! I wish I could agree with you, but thanks to two c-sections, no bladder issues for me.
But, I think that I would prefer some pee from time to time, then have had two surgeries! :-)
So the csection saved you Kristen?!?
I wasn't sure whether it was the actual birth or the 9 months before that-that did me in.
And Kris...
Seriously, kegels??? Maybe I should add that to my workout I'm starting at the Y. I'll tell the trainer to add it in the rotation. :D
I had to come out of the wood-work for the is one, too...
I'm with you, fellow mommy, my bladders shot after my own three children; and nothing reminds me of it more than jumping!
i don't think i'd attempt to jump rope...but definitely go with the kegels...try and do them when your driving...and hold in your abs at the same time...double workout!
I thought it was only me...I dropped out of the Y's bootcamp last year because jumping rope was one of the required excercises....sigh.
