So incredibly bittersweet.
Graham said teees, for his kitties first.
Ella said Dada, well, for her daddy first.
And, Claire, my sweet #3 said mama first.
Mama first. I wouldn't have to do anything with the fact that I hear MOM, moooooommmmmeeee, mom! and mom? about a billizion times a day, you think?? No matter, she said mama first. And I love it.
And, if your skeptical that your blog writer is a bit biased, just know that Eric brought her crying to me saying mama and she's said it a few appropriate times more since then.
May it be mama and not Mommy or Mom for many, many moons to come.

Nothing compares to the first time being called mom, mommy or mama. I only got mine at age 6.5 years old. I have loved every instance of it since. Congratulations on your very lovable Claire and her first fabulous word - mama.
