It came across my mind just now. And, I'm remembering
that I don't want to forget it. How's that for some post pregnancy,
baby zapping all intelligent thoughts from your brain sentence? Ha!
So back to the old news. I'm sure my adoring husband is going to love
that I'm forever etching this conversation into blog history but it's
just too good not to.
A couple of days after *Claire* was born Eric decided to call friends
to announce that *Claire* had arrived. He wanted to tell the stats,
the story of the quick birth, how he saw *Claire* on the social security
name list just hours before she was born, and how I had liked *Claire* too.
*Claire* what a perfect name that HE found.
Why then, on the call to our friend Tim did the conversation
sound something like this...
Eric: Blah, blah, blah
listening to Tim
more blah, blah, blah..
Eric: yeah, good news.....super quick......tiny and adorable....CAROLINE
I paused. Nope, no nurse named Caroline, no doctor named Caroline,
no family relative named Caroline.
Me: Did you just tell Tim that our daughter's name was *Caroline*???!?!?
Eric: pause, blink, blink...What's her name.....Oh *CLAIRE*!!
So there you go, my baby Claire, don't be surprised if your daddy summons
you by something other than Claire over the years.
I'm guessing he won't make the Caroline mistake again though.

Yes! I'm sure that was why but it is still some pretty good ammunition to use against him. :)
My hubbie sent out a mass email announcing "Thomas" (our first son) instead of "Louis" the newly born :o)
Thanks again for posting camera info (above pic). I love the bathroom pics as well. What is your most used lens? Also, are you apt to use an external flash with your pics ever?
